Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) will be participating in the upcoming KL MATTA Travel Fair from 8th until 10th September 2017, highlighting the tourist attractions in Korea during autumn and winter seasons. KTO booth will be joined by 14 Korean representatives from the provinces such Gangwon, Jeju, Daegu, Gyeonggi, Busan and more. We are going to bring lots of fun, interactive games, free souvenirs and most importantly the latest travel info in Korea to KL MATTA Travel Fair visitors.

K-Photo Session with KTO Mascots

Besides of the two popular KTO mascots, Chorongi and Saekdongi, another two mascots of Pyeongchang Winter Olympic, Soohorang and Bandabi, will be joining to cheer up the visitors at KL MATTA Travel Fair. Soohorang is a white tiger and Bandabi is an Asiatic black bear. Both of them are representing courage, strong willpower, and protection from all harm. Let’s try your luck by spinning our K-Food wheel and winning some Korean snacks during your visitation at KL MATTA Travel Fair. It will be very fun and we have a variety of Korean snacks ready to be won. So, come visit KTO booth in the morning session!


Korean Rice Cake Pounding Experience

Injeolmi (인절미) is the most popular and common Korean rice cake that made for special occasions like wedding and festival days. The rice cake is made with sweet rice (glutinous rice) through a steaming and pounding process. The taste of the rice cake is very sweet, chewy and sticky. In the upcoming KL MATTA Travel Fair, you have the chance to make your own Injeolmi by pounding on the sweet rice. Don’t miss the chance to learn about Korea traditional foods!

 

K-pop Dance Cover Performance

KTO will be inviting two groups of young talented local dancers, Kingsman and Kueendom to perform onstage during the KL MATTA Travel Fair. Come enjoy the K-pop dance with us!

 

Hanbok Trial Experience

At KTO booth, KL MATTA Travel Fair visitors will get to try the Korean traditional costume, Hanbok for free. We have a variety of Hanbok designs for both man and woman, from typical Royal Hanbok to the colorful fusion-style Hanbok.
