Bukchon Bajirak Kalguksu Restaurant
Main dish served is Clam Soup Noodle.

Address: Bukchon Bajirak Kalguksu (북촌 바지 락칼국수),  Bukchon-ro-2-gil,  Jongno-gu, Seoul
Direction: Anguk Station Exit 2. Walk straight for about 10 steps from the exit. Turn into the alley on the left side. Walk until you see the restaurant’s signboard.

Dongdaemun Grilled Fish Market
Popular place to eat grilled fish while you are in Dongdaemun area. Located at the back alley of shops.

Address: Dongdaemu, Jongno-gu 6ga, Seoul, South Korea


– Take subway to Dongdaemun station (Line 1 or 4) Exit #8. Walk straight then turn right.
– Walk towards the stream (You can see how the stream looks like by scrolling up).
– Once you reach the stream, turn right (the stream will be on your left). Walk straight.
– You can see ‘PyeongHwa Clothing Market’ on your left.
– After the second bridge (to cross the stream), turn right and go into the small lane.
– Take the left lane. There will be a lot of shops selling this.

*PS: They grill the fish outside the shop so it would be very easy to spot the shops. Just choose any shop.


Insa-dong Sujebi Restaurant

It is a claypot Sujebi and is a traditional Korean noodle soup. The noodles are made with homemade dough, and while noodles are usually cut with a knife.

Address: Insa-dong, Jongno 1,2,3,4ga, Jongno-gu, Seoul Jongno-gu

– After Anguk Station, Exit 6, walk towards Insadong and walk past Ssamziegil.
– You will see sudoyakguk pharmacy and walk into the alley next to it – Insadong-10-gil. Walk straight you will see the sign board “Insadong Sujebi – 인사동 수제비” at the end on your right. Walk into the alley and you will see the shop on your left.
