Agents Familiarization Trip Dec 2014
KTO Activities : December Agents Familiarization Trip
KTO has organized a fam trip for fellow travel agents this month, and we covered quite a few places of interest around Busan, Gyeonggi-do and Gangwon-do!
On our first day, we visited Jinhae which is famous for their cherry blossoms during spring time. We then moved to Gamcheon Culture Village and Trickeye Museum in Busan, and stayed the night in Busan facing Haeundae Beach.
The next day, we went on a cable car up to Tongyeong Mireuksan for a view of Tongyeong – we even got a glimpse of Japan! After Tongyeong Mireuksan, we went to Suncheon Bay Garden Expo, Naganeupsong Folk Village, and stayed the night next to Jeonju Hanok Village.
On the third morning, we visited the mystical Maisan stone pagodas and its temple, and moved on to lunch at Beartree Park. We arrived in Gyeonggi-do and visited Samsung Innovation Museum in Suwon.
The following day, we went to Suwon Hwaseong Fortress and learned traditional Korean archery, visited the Water Park and Snow Park in Onemount, and ended our day in the “My Love from the Star” exhibition in Goyang.
After waking up, we visited Edelweiss Switzerland Theme Village where We Got Married Global Edition was filmed, and had lunch in the Garden of Morning Calm in Gapyeong.
The next morning, we visited Jeongdongjin station in Gangwon-do which is famous as a filming site for the drama “Sandglass” (모래시계) and also for its sunrise view. We made our own lunch in Jeonggangwon and moved to Gangchon Rail Park where Running Man was filmed. We went for a short visit to Chuncheon Animation Museum and Robot Studio, and ended our day with dinner at Chuncheon Myeongdong’s famous Dakgalbi Street.
On our last day, we managed to visit Jade Garden before boarding the flight back to Malaysia. It was the filming site for popular dramas such as “That Winter, The Wind Blows”, “Full House Take 2” and “Love Rain”.
