Join Busan One Asia Festival in this October 2018
October is the best month to visit Busan because Asia’s No. 1 Hallyu festival, Busan One Asia Festival (BOF) will be held for 9 consecutive days throughout Busan, starting from 20 until 28 Oct 2018 with the focus of promoting K-pop, Korean food, beauty, fashion and medical. Various exciting Korea Wave performances and exhibitions will be led by Korea’s top K-pop bands such as EXO, Wanna One, Seventeen, NCT127 and more.
Some highlights of the festival including BOF Opening Ceremony (20 Oct @ 19:00), BOF Park Concert (21 Oct @ 18:00) and BOF Fan Meeting (21, 23 & 26 Oct). Other Events Ongoing during the BOF Period
Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) is a festival designed to develop Busan, the cradle of Korean movies, to a cultural and art city that suits the schedule of local autonomy beyond the centralization of the image culture. The festival will be held on 4 – 13 Oct 2018 in Busan Cinema Center, cinemas around Haeundae, and BEXCO. The public can enjoy the screening of around 290 films ranging from narrative fiction, documentaries, animations to interactive titles.
Busan Fireworks Festival (BFO), on the other hand, will fall on 27 Oct 2017 along Gwangalli Beach. The festival showcases high-tech laser light shows and a myriad of unique and colorful fireworks. Hwangnyeongsan Mountain is one of the most popular spots to enjoy the fireworks.
