Korea Plaza offers a Free Korean cooking class to our Kaki Korea Club members on every second or fourth Tuesday of a month. Depending on the number of participants, you will get the opportunity to experience a “hands-on session” on how to make the dishes, the recipe and have a try on the taste yourself.

Spicy Braised Chicken/Dakbokkeum Tang (닭볶음탕)
Spicy Braised Chicken (닭볶음탕) – is very popular spicy chicken dish in Korea with simple vegetables such as potato, carrot and onion. It’s also called dakdoritang (닭도리탕). The ingredients are sometimes stir-fried before being boiled. The recipe may varies across the Korean peninsula.
Napa Cabbage Pancake/Baechu-jeon (배추전)
Napa Cabbage Pancake (배추전) – This simple dish of whole cabbage leaves dunked in batter and fried gives the leaves a nice softer taste that goes well with the simple soy sauce dressing. It is believed to have originated from the Gyeongsang-do region and it is very easy to make.
