Korea Plaza offers a Free Korean cooking class to our Kaki Korea Club members on every second or fourth Tuesday of a month. Depending on the number of participants, you will get the opportunity to experience a “hands-on session” on how to make the dishes, the recipe and have a try on the taste yourself.

Dakgaejang/Spicy Chicken Soup (닭계장)
Dakgaejang/Spicy Chicken Soup (닭계장) – Typically, dakgaejang is made with a whole chicken and lots of scallions and other vegetables such as gosari (fernbrake fiddleheads), bean sprouts, and mushrooms. Our version is boiled the chicken with garlic and onions. Bone the chicken and boil the broth with radish, bean sprouts and green onions.
Jumeokbap/Rice Balls (주먹밥)
Jumeokbap/Rice Balls (주먹밥) – Jumeok-bap or rice ball is a lump of cooked rice made into a round loaf like the shape of a fist. Rice balls are a common item in dosirak (a packed meal) and often eaten as a light meal, between-meal snack, street food, or an accompaniment to spicy food.
