Busan One Asia Festival is Back in this October

This October is going to be the best month to visit Busan. Why? It is because Asia’s No. 1 Hallyu festival, Busan 2017 One Asia Festival (BOF) will be held for 10 consecutive days throughout Busan, starting from 22 until 31 Oct with the focus of promoting K-pop, Korean food, beauty, fashion and medical. Various exciting Korea Wave performances and exhibitions will be led by Korea’s top K-pop bands such as Apink, Wanna One, ASTRO, BAP and more. 

 

 

Some highlights of the festival including BOF Opening Ceremony (22 Oct @ 18:00), BOF Awards (31 Oct @ 18:00) and BOF Fan Meeting (20-27 Oct @ 20:00). The phase 1 artist lineup is already released and tickets are on sale now. Don’t miss the chance to interact or watch your favorite K-pop idols from close!

Other Events Ongoing during the BOF Period

BIFF Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) will be held on 12 – 21 Oct 2017 in Haeundae-gu and this year is the 22nd year for Busan to organize this festival. The public can enjoy the screening of around 290 films, ranging from narrative fiction, documentaries, animations to interactive titles.

 

 

Busan Fireworks Festival (BFO), on the other hand, will fall on 28 Oct 2017 along Gwangalli Beach. The festival showcases high-tech laser light shows and a myriad of unique and colorful fireworks. Hwangnyeongsan Mountain is one of the most popular spots to enjoy the fireworks.
