Opening of Seoul Sky - World’s Third Highest Observatory

Do you dare to look down from the top of 117-floors through a glass-floored observation deck? If yes, challenge yourself at Seoul Sky which opened on April 4.

 

 

Seoul Sky is located on the upper floors (117F-123F) of Seoul’s highest building, Lotte World Tower and is designed with the concept of “The Beauty and Pride of Korea”. From the observation deck, you will see a 360-degree view of the city and even Songdo, Incheon and the Yellow Sea on a clear weather day. Before its opening, Seoul Sky is already receiving tremendous public attention by breaking 3 Guinness World Records as the below:

  • The highest glass-floored observation deck
  • The tallest double deck elevator
  • The fastest double deck elevator

The Sky Shuttle elevator, alone is holding 2 Guinness World records as you can travel from B2 to 117F in only 60 seconds and the elevator wall is actually a monitor using the Virtual Reality technology, so it is higher than the normal elevator, which is 496m in total.
