Free Korean Language Class at Korea Plaza
October - December Semester 2011
The Korean Language Class is offered FREE-of-charge by Korea Plaza to those who are enthusiastic to learn more about Korean Language and Korean Culture. However, the students are required to pay for their own textbooks which cost about RM10-RM15 each. Each semester consists of 10 lessons, or approximately 3 months. There will be 1 lesson in a week, and each lesson will last for 2 hours. The lessons are conducted at Korea Plaza by dedicated and experienced Korean native speakers who are also Korean language lecturers in universities.
The October-December Semester 2011 will commence from 10 October 2011.

Registration Guidelines*
1. Choose the level and time carefully.
2. Send an email with the subject <Name_Level_KLC Oct-Dec> (For example: Jang Geun Sok_Level 1A_KLC Oct-Dec) to klkoreaplaza@gmail.com during the Registration Period, on a first-come-first-served basis.
3. Registration period for SKC members: 12-14 September 2011.
4. Registration period for all: 15-23 September 2011.
5. Include all the following detailed information in the email:

6. Incomplete information and registration made before or after the registration period will not be entertained.
7. Only maximum 2 registrations are allowed in one email.
8. Students who have passed Level 1 may proceed to Level 2, and those who have passed Level 2 may proceed to Level 3. However, the same student may not be able to repeat the same level for more than one time, to give a fair chance to other applicants.
9. A confirmation email will be sent out to shortlisted candidates by 30 September 2011.
10. The name list will be announced on KTO KL’s website www.visitkorea.com.my by 30 September 2011.
Rules & Regulations*
- Attendance
1. A strict attendance is observed.
2. Any absence should be accompanied by a written Early Notice (E/N) via email to klkoreaplaza@gmail.com stating: a) Name, b) Group and c) Reason.
3. Three absence without an Early Notice (E/N) will result to automatic termination from the current semester and restriction from registration on upcoming semester.
· Level Test
1. A final test to be held during the second last lesson.
2. The instructor is responsible to inform Korea Plaza regarding the results and furnish a name list for those who have passed the test.
